COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

We are situated in the heart of the town at the Anchor, Civic Square in Tilbury, Essex and we run diverse activities throughout the calendar year.

DELIGHT SUPPLEMENTARY SCHOOL 

The Supplementary school with qualified teachers runs educational Classes in Maths, English and Sciences every Saturday (10:00am-1:00pm). This caters to all key stages including A ‘Levels.

HOLISTIC MENTORING SCHEME 

This is an Empowering Programme for all women in the community.

Holistic Women Projects: Cooking Classes; Parenting Skills; Young Mothers Club; CV Writing; Teachings on Relationship; Talking; Self Esteem; Coffee Morning; Crafts Class; Family Planning Counselling; Getting Back on Track and lots more.

SUMMER COACHING ACTIVITIES

Our coaching team organizes activities for the community during summer period. They organize day trips and excursions during holidays

ANNUAL COMMUNITY FESTIVAL

Summer Fete: This is Our Big Event to all within the Community during summer which involves Sports, Food; Funs; Entertainment and many more.

COMMUNITY LOVE FEAST :

This is a program that we do every Christmas period to project love of Christ. Gifts are shared; Hampers are distributed within the community and Carol Songs rendered. This event is open to every individual within the community. Invitation cards are usually distributed within the community to invite people to this great love feast including the Local Councillors.

DIVERSITY DAY :

This is a day set aside on a particular Sunday of the Month to appreciate multi-ethnicity within the community. Various cultures from different nations are displayed and different languages learnt. All within the community are usually invited.

CHARITY SUPPORT :

We support other charities within the community for charity events. We visit the Elderly Homes within the community, distribute Hampers during Christmas and also take part in the Community Charity Day where we distribute Free Clothes and Food. We are greatly involved in local activities; participate in Council programmes and work well with our local councillors.
